INTEGRATING TECHNOLOGY IN THE ART CLASSROOM

Technology is everywhere and ever-evolving. When integrated purposefully and thoughtfully into the classroom environment, it can also be a powerful educational support. In addition to devices, utilizing tech to create video, screencasts, and digital presentations offers students different ways to engage more effectively with the lesson material, and can change the classroom dynamics to encourage more student-centered project-based learning.

SCREENCAST

A screencast a video recording (or transmission) of the information displayed on a computer screen, usually with audio narration. It can be a great tool to teach students how to perform tasks with computer software, or navigate online resources.
